The Company
La Truffe Cendrée is a small family business run by Arnaud Bizac, and based in Souillac, South West France. Arnaud learned his trade from his father who ran his own foie gras company; this prompted Arnaud to set up La Truffe Cendrée. The site is run by a team of highly skilled and passionate men and women who are dedicated to producing the finest quality products. A large proportion of the liver used comes from France, unlike alternatives that are imported from Eastern Europe.
We are the exclusive distributors in the UK of this prestigious French foie gras.
The product
Our fresh foie gras range includes five products. We offer both whole duck and goose liver in 180g jars. These two really are the crème de la crème in the foie gras world; they are purist version. There is also duck foie gras in torchon, available in two sizes: 105g and 300g and a block of duck liver with pieces in a 1kg tub.
We recommend that the foie gras is served at room temperature accompanied by our Muscat white wine jelly.
